Welcome to the 2011 Down Under Native Orchids website.
We have some interesting new Brian & Phena crosses and our friends at Cedarvale Orchids (Qld) and Orchids and More (Tas), have also contributed to another great catalogue.
The Nursery definitely will be placed on the market this year (no rumor) with stacks & stacks of material in flasks & dry seed to be worked for future years, plus our quality Sarcochilus, Dendrobium Speciosum, Kingianum & Hybrid Breeding plants and new potential breeders that will be coming through.
This decision hasn’t come lightly, and may not sit well with our loyal D U N O clients. The time and effort that goes into getting our plants, flasks and catalogues ready, be it our Annual or Christmas specials has just become too much, as well as personal health issues. We also feel that we need to spend more time with each other as well as with our Grandchildren, after all none of us are getting any younger, are we?
We have made available for your consideration the biggest array of divisions of our show/breeder plants that we have ever offered before, so we suggest you check out the Divisions in each category.
We specialize in line breeding select species and hybrids in most Aussie Native genera, and as one of the leading breeders in this field if not ‘The Leader’. We make this statement based on the success we have enjoyed over the 12 years we have been at the wheel of D U N O.
